Uploading Your Compositions

Using a Computer or Chromebook?

  1. “Export” or “Save” your composition as a WAV or MP3 file from whatever program you’re using (e.g. Finale, Sibelius, Noteflight, MixCraft, GarageBand)
  2. Be sure to save it in a folder or on your desktop
  3. Then Upload to My BT Tunes

Using an iPad?

1. Noteflight

  1. You must open Noteflight on a computer in order to Export your composition as WAV file
  2. Go to “File”, “Export” and then save score as “Wav Audio”
  3. Then Upload to My BT Tunes

2. GarageBand

  1. Go to “My Songs” homepage and “Tap & Hold” your song file.
  2. Click on the “Share” icon in the top left corner.
  3. Email it to yourself OR
    Choose “Open In”, “Share”, and Select whatever file sharing app you have (e.g. Dropbox) and Save.
  4. Then upload to My BT Tunes

3. Other Notation Apps

  1. Export as a WAV or MP3/4 file
  2. Then email to yourself or use Dropbox.
  3. Then Upload to My BT Tunes

Using Android?

1. Noteflight

  1. You must open Noteflight on a computer in order to Export your composition as WAV file
  2. Go to “File”, “Export” and then save score as “Wav Audio”
  3. Then Upload to My BT Tunes

2. PocketBand

  1. Export as MP3
  2. Select “listen using system player”
  3. Then Upload from “music folder” to MY BT Tunes
